This summer, the Puget Sound Estuarium invites you to discover the rich marine life in Puget Sound with the Meet the Beach program.
Offered for free throughout the season, these educational events are hosted by the Puget Sound Estuarium and take place during optimal low tides at various South Sound beaches.
The Estuarium’s beach naturalists, easily identified by their green vests, will guide visitors in exploring the diverse plants and animals that are part of the estuary habitat.
Attendees can expect to encounter sea stars, snails, crabs, jellyfish, and other fascinating marine creatures.
No registration is required – just show up at the designated beaches and times.
