He’s been fascinated with sports and its fan culture since his dad introduced him to watching basketball and boxing matches at the age of 7. Around the same age, he has also started to write sports stories for his elementary school paper and continued writing sports stories for publication up until high school. In college, he did side quests of writing for the student newsletter while taking his engineering degree at the University of the Philippines.
He joined the JOLT in November 2022 and is also works as a civil engineer for the local government in his hometown of Tagum City, Davao del Norte, Mindanao, Philippines.
