Jerome Tuaño – jerome@theJOLTnews.com – an award-winning journalist, covers the Port of Olympia, City of Tumwater and environmental issues as a reporter for The JOLT.
He honed his passion for truth-seeking and storytelling at Cavite State University where he also made documentary films about local culture and the environment. He holds an A.B. in Journalism from Cavite State, based in Indang, Philippines. Prior to joining The JOLT, Jerome covered breaking news and was a fact checker for Rappler and agricultural news for Manila Bulletin.
