David Hanig

David Hanig worked for over 40 years in mental health and health care policy.  Until 2016, he was Vice President of The Lewin Group – a national healthcare consulting firm.  Hanig also worked for the Washington State Senate as a Senior Policy Analyst.  He worked as a senior manager for 15 years for the state Medicaid agency; prior to that implemented programs for the state mental health agency.  Hanig lives with his wife in Olympia.  He recently published a book titled In Every Breath a Prayer: A Journey of Healing in Verse and Prose.
