Darlanne Cruz – darlanne@theJOLTnews.com – joined The JOLT in August 2023 to cover the crime and justice beats.

She worked as an on-air television reporter for GMA7 Cebu and reporter and anchor for TV5 Cebu in her hometown of Cebu, in The Philippines. She earned a bachelor’s in communications at Cebu Institute of Technology-University and a master’s degree in communications from Cebu Normal University.
